Hey everyone !
If you’ve seen my streams recently, you might know I’ve had a chance to try out Dragon Ball Z Kakarot ! I even made a small video for Game One on it, but don’t worry if you don’t understand French, I’ll give you a small rundown underneath.

Basically, I quite liked the game. It’s made by fans for fans of Dragon Ball, though I could feel they bit off more than they could chew. The semi-open world feels kinda lifeless and the combat is a bit too on the simple and easy side. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something compells me to go on despite that, so I guess it’s a good sign… Somewhat.
And if you want to see me play the game, you can also check out my Twitch streams : the first, where I go through the game’s intro, and the second, with the Sayen arc kicking into higher gear, followed by my reactions on the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation where they revealed a playable Byleth (if you just want to see it, it’s shortly before the 3-hour mark) !
Ben’s full review of DBZ should come out in a few days and from what I gathered, our opinion match a bit, so you can look forward to that in the coming days !
I liked the game but there are several bugs that need to be fixed. by the way, the article is great and well written.
