Here is the interview made by Versus Fighting TV and me about Soul Calibur V producer, Daishi Odashima, at the biggest world fighting games tournament EVO. (July 2011)

Unfortunately, we can’t see myself asking questions and a lot of them are not included. MVC3 finals were in same time so there was a lot of hype and noises that disturbed the interview :/
Malheureusement on ne me voit pas poser les questions et beaucoup d’entre elles n’ont pas pu été prise en compte, la finale Marvel VS Capcom 3 se déroulait en même temps et il y avait beaucoup d’ambiance donc du bruit qui perturbait l’interview…:/

At the end of the interview, you can see Daishi-san giving me the Xianghua and Leixia original artwork as a gift for me. I was so touched I couldn’t prevent to cry of joy !
It was a wonderful moment for me that I will never

forget, receiving such a beautiful gift from a producer’s hands (that I met while he was a player 10 years ago), representing my forever character makes me very happy ! I can’t describe my feelings !

A la fin de l’interview, vous pourrez voir le producteur me donner en cadeau l’artwork original de Xianghua (mon personnage) et de sa fille Leixia. 🙂 J’en étais tellement émue que j’ai pas pu m’empêcher de pleurer !
Ce fut un superbe moment pour moi que je n’oublierais jamais, et recevoir des mains du producteur (que j’avais rencontré il y a 10ans quand il était joueur) un si joli cadeau représentant mon personnage de toujours me remplie de joie !!!! C’est indescriptible !!!!

There are some moments especially when we play competitively, with sponsors implicated etc…where we forget why we first play : It’s simply the pleasure to play.
Sometimes I forget it myself, but each time I see this gift now, it reminds me why I play.
I want Soul Calibur to be more famous, I want people to understand why its community loves this game so much and I would like to attract more players to try and love it !
I will do everything I can for it ! 🙂

Il y a des fois où à force de jouer de façon compétitif, avec l’implication des sponsors etc… on en oublie pourquoi on joue à la base : le plaisir du jeu tout simplement. Parfois je l’oubliais moi-même, mais chaque fois que je vois ce cadeau maintenant, je m’en rappelle toujours.
Je veux encore davantage que le jeu soit plus reconnu, que les gens comprennent pourquoi la communauté de Soul apprécie autant ce jeu et attirer davantage de joueurs ! Je ferais tout mon possible pour ça ! 🙂
